We are in Poland!

Within the frame of Erasmus+ programme the RaRe team took part in the fourth project meeting in a Zespol Szkol Miejskich nr 1 w Grajewie between 4 and 8 May 2015.

The main activity was performing the play ’Romeo and Juliet’ in English language , our team got the opportunity to play the fourth act of the drama. The five partner institutions put a lot of energy and effort into the performance.

Also we went on an outing to Galindia, to the centre of Mazurian Landscape Park where we witnessed a Viking show in which Viking warriors ’attacked’ our bus , we were taken captive by them, the girls’ hands were bound together and the Vikings offered sacrifices to their Gods, two of our German students were ’burned to death.’ After the show our Viking warriors invited us for a substantial dinner.

All of us  had a wonderful time in Poland but we , Hungarians especially made ourselves at home, and as the saying goes:

Polak, Węgier — dwa bratanki,
i do szabli, i do szklanki,
oba zuchy, oba żwawi,
niech im Pan Bóg błogosławi.

In English:

Pole and Hungarian cousins be,
good for fight and good for party.
Both are valiant, both are lively,
Upon them may God's blessings be.
